Job Purpose

The network planning manager shall plan, direct and control the delivery of Network Strategy by ensuring that, technical plans are coverted from business objectives to deliver best quality at lower cost and innovative Capex productivity in other to ensure the lowest cost and deliver superior network experience continually. The role reports to the Network Director

Duties

•  Provide strategic inputs to group planning and CTO towards the formulation of optmal network roadmaps that encompasses the telecommunication requirements and subsequently develop its roadmap
•  Manage the financial capital expenditure of the industry
•  Ensure compliance to applicable regulations and monitor availability of all relevant documentation across relevant touch points to meet compliance requirements
•  Partner with supply chain management on vendor/partner management processes
•  Build a capable and motivated team to create a high performance team environment
•  Ensure scalability / interoperability in the network operations

Qualification Required & Experience

•  Bachelor of Engineering degree (Electrical & Electronics, or related field)
•  Sound knowledge of Mobile Network Planning Optimisation and O & M
•  10 – 12 years of varied experience and maintenance in the Telecom industry
•  At least 3 years senior management experience in an area of network Planning
