Job Summary

An Eye Hospital is recruiting a dedicated Nurse to join the surgical team. The successful candidate will assist surgeons and other healthcare professionals before, during, and after surgical procedures while ensuring a safe, sterile, and efficient operating theatre environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating theatre and surgical equipment before procedures.
• Assist surgeons during operations.
• Maintain strict infection prevention and sterilization standards.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery.
• Ensure surgical instruments and supplies are available and accounted for.
• Document patient care and theatre activities accurately.
• Respond promptly to emergencies in the operating theatre.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and professional standards.

Qualification Required & Experience

• Certificate in Nursing(NAC) or Diploma.
• Valid professional license or registration.
• At least 1 year experience.
• Experience in Operating Theatre is an added advantage.

Skills and Competencies

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Team player with a professional attitude.

Salary: GHS 1,800 - GHS 2,200 basic plus other benefits.
