Role and Responsibilities:

•   Work in a production support environment to handle UIM and ASAP application related issues
•   Adhere to SLA as set by the customer in terms of response/resolution time
•   The candidate will provide user support and respond to customers' queries
•   Performs root cause analysis for frequently occurring business challenges and develop strategy to resolve them.
•   Raises support documents/tickets with Oracle support system and follow up for solution
•   Coordinates with Oracle support DBA, Technical/ Techno-functional teams to implement bug fixes and to deploy the same in production
•   Provides technical training to existing and new users on new functionalities
•   Advises management on road map for Application enhancements, identification, implementation of new modules and advanced functionalities as required.
•   Recommends to management; a strategy for Application and database upgrade, and implementation as required.
•   Prepares status report/s to management as directed.
•   Ensures compliance with application release, outage management and change control processes and standards.
•   Develop and implement solutions on Oracle Service Design & Oracle Activation in the Communications industry.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Bachelor's degree in computer Science, Telecom Engineering, or related technical field from a recognized university. Masters in MIS will be added advantage
•   The candidate should be well versed in Oracle UIM (7 .2.2.x) and Oracle ASAP (7.2.x) environments.
•   Strong development and implementation experience in Oracles provi ioning SUO e     U as 0 and ASAP (formerly Metasolv products).
•   Strong experience in technologies including JavalJ2EE, UNIX Shell scripting, CVS or other source control
system and multi-threaded/multi-process applications.
•   Hands on experience in development and deployment of Weblogic J2EE application server on Unix/Linux platforms. •   Experience in complex projectis that involve cuslomization and integration of the Oracle OSS (UIM and ASAP) products
•   Ability to implement functional and solution architecture, product configuration, deployment methodologies and life cycle management for applications in the domain of service design and activation.
•   Deep understanding of the OSS domain and the role offulfillment systems.
•   Strong experience with software creation environment such as Design Studio (7 .2.x) & Eclipse.
•   Excellent communication skills in English.
•   Good customer service skills and desire to work in a collaborative team environment.
•   Ability to apply the corporate core values to meet customer expectations and satisfaction.
•   Ability to provide leadership, sound judgment and supervision
•   Well developed observational skills and attention to details
•   Ability to arrange personal and team work routines and practices to make optimum use of time and resources-
