Job Vacancy For Payroll & Provident Fund Administrator



A three (3) star hotel located in the Eastern Region requires the services of a Payroll & Provident Fund Administrator

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Ensure new recruits are setup on the Oracle payroll system defining clearly all earnings and deductions applicable.
• Coordinate the entire payroll functions and ensure that all pay groups (e.g. employees and governmental agencies – GRA & SSNIT) are paid accurately and timely.
• Prepare monthly salary reconciliations for all pay groups and payment requisitions for approval.
• Ensure the full implementation of the statutory laws, policies, collective agreement (CA) and procedures.
• Investigate and resolve all payroll related enquiries from all stakeholders i.e. Government agencies, employees, Unions, etc.
• Generate and distribute payroll reports as required (e.g. Pay slips, bank listings, leave accruals, provident fund, social security, PAYE, Tier 1, Tier 2, etc.).
• Liaise with various Pension Fund Managers and employees and assist in addressing any queries.
• Manage employee payroll, Leave, Back Pay, Annual Bonus, Month End reconciliations, etc.
• Administer staff provident fund and serve as the reference point for all provident fund reconciliations.
• Conduct periodic salary surveys to guide Management in its negotiations with the Unions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant labour laws and regulations.
• Perform regular audits and review of payroll and provident fund processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Work closely with the Finance team to ensure smooth and efficient payroll and provident fund operations
• Any other job that may be assigned by Management from time to time.

Qualification Required & Experience

EDUCATION

• A minimum of a degree in Accounting/Finance/CA or ACCA level 2/ Human Resources.
• A minimum of four (4) years post qualification experience in a similar role.
• Membership of a professional body will be an added advantage.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent spreadsheet, presentation and report writing skills.
• Ability to use Oracle software applications will be an advantage.
• Professional disposition with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Uncompromising integrity and ability to maintain a high level of compliance.
