Job Summary:

• To provide administrative, strategic and operational support to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), ensuring the efficient management of priorities, effective coordination of CHRO activities and support for the delivery of HR and organizational initiatives.

Tasks

• Manage the CHRO’s calendar, appointments, meetings, travel arrangements, and daily schedule to ensure effective prioritization and optimal use of executive time.
• Coordinate meeting requests, engagements, and correspondence on behalf of the CHRO.
• Prepare daily briefs, executive summaries, meeting packs, briefing notes, presentations, and other materials required for decision-making and leadership engagements.
• Coordinate and manage correspondence, including emails, memos, reports, and confidential communications, ensuring timely and professional responses.
• Coordinate the preparation, review, and submission of Board, Board Subcommittee, Executive Committee (ExCo), and other governance meeting deliverables.
• Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, action logs, and follow-up reports, and track the implementation of agreed actions arising from governance and leadership meetings.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the CHRO’s Office and internal and external stakeholders, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with executives, senior leaders, business partners, and key stakeholders across the organization.
• Draft, proofread, edit, and coordinate reports, presentations, speeches, communication materials, and executive correspondence.
• Prepare and coordinate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual Human Resource reports, dashboards, and executive updates.
• Monitor departmental projects, strategic initiatives, key milestones, risks, and deadlines, providing progress updates and escalating issues where required.
• Support the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of strategic, governance, risk, and compliance initiatives within the Human Resource Division.
• Assist with budgeting, procurement activities, expenditure monitoring, and related administrative processes within the division.
• Oversee office logistics, resource planning, and administrative coordination to ensure the efficient operation of the CHRO’s Office.
• Manage sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, streamline administrative and governance processes, enhance reporting effectiveness, and strengthen the overall effectiveness of the CHRO’s Office.

Qualification Required & Experience

Education

• First Degree in Social Science, Psychology, Management, or a related field of study

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience as a Personal Assistant to a C-Suite executive
