An exciting role with a fast-paced and forward thinking Asset Management Firm is available for a highly qualified individual with a broad and extensive financial management and investment experience to oversee its fixed income and listed equity portfolio:- Portfolio Manager

Duties:

•  Will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will plan, organise and direct the work of a staff of professionals engaged in the oversight of a multi-million cedi investment portfolio
•  Act as advisor on all matters involving investment of fund assets.
•  Work with C.E.O and C.O.O and consultants to develop and implement investment polcies and strategies
•  Implement and monitor asset allocation planning and recommend and perform rebalancing as necessary
•  Oversee preparation of records, reports and financial transactions and make presentations to the board.
•  Maintain contact with members of the investment community and participate in the development of best practices in the industry

Qualification Required & Experience

•  Graduate of a recognised university and five years of full time experience administering a multi-asset class investment programme
•  A masters degree and / or higher and three years experience as a manager of a substantial investment portfolio
•  Ideally, individual must have passed all Ghana Stock Exchange courses
•  Overseas applicants with extensive securities market experience and brokerage firm certificates may apply.
