Title: Principal Officer, Refining, Minting, Fabrication, Hallmarking & Gold Tokenization
Reports To: Unit Head, Refining, Minting, Fabrication, Hallmarking & Gold Tokenization

Job Summary: Supports the Unit Head in refining, minting, fabrication, hallmarking, and gold tokenization activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards, regulatory compliance, and efficient operations within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the monitoring and optimising of gold refining processes to ensure compliance with international purity standards.
• Support the implementation of quality control measures in refining operations
• Lead the process of bullion and coin minting, and the fabrication of gold products
• Support the implementation and maintenance of hallmarking procedures to ensure the authenticity and quality of gold products.
• Support the Unit Head in gold tokenization initiatives, including the integration of blockchain and digital asset management
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all operational activities.

Qualification Required & Experience

Skills and Qualification Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Material Science or related field.
• Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in gold refining fabrication, with at least two (2) years in a senior role.
• Experience in refining, minting, fabrication, or hallmarking processes.
• Understanding of quality control and assurance principles.
• Knowledge of relevant national and international standards.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software and equipment operation.
• Knowledge of blockchain technology
• High level of integrity
