Job Summary

ACDI/VOCA is currently seeking the services of a Program Associate (to be based in its Accra office) for the Farmer-to-Farmer Program (F2F). F2F is a regional program that provides voluntary technical assistance to farmers, farm groups, and agribusinesses throughout Ghana to promote sustainable improvements in food security and agricultural processing, production, and marketing. The program relies on the expertise of volunteers from U.S. farms, land grant universities, cooperatives, private agribusinesses and nonprofit farm organizations to respond to provide short-term technical assistance at the request of host-country farmers and organizations. The successful candidate will perform the following duties:

•  Develop scopes of work for volunteer activities in conjunction with local hosts and act as primary point of contact with the organization responding to any questions from recruiters and program staff
•  Coordinate with local organizations and volunteers to support the logistics of volunteer schedules, travel, and safety
•  Liaise with host organizations and volunteers to facilitate introduction meetings and organize close-out sessions with program beneficiaries
•  Prepare field reports identifying volunteer activities and results
•  Conduct evaluation surveys and contribute to data entry
•  Assist in the preparation of program documents and reports using

Qualification Required & Experience

•  Bachelor's degree or equivalent experiences
•  Excellent written and oral communication skills
•  Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team
•  Minimum three years of similar work experience
•  Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint)
•  Detail oriented and highly organized
