Job Summary

•   Overall project responsibility for all on-site activities of BA in Guabuliga: project management: planning, enforcing, supervising and monitoring each project to achieve the defined targets
•   Defining yearly targets for each project with the co-workers, who work in this project
•   Motivating the employees and strengthening the team-spirit
•   Being the link between Ghana and Austria
•   Administration of the project budget on site and having the overall responsibility for the accounts on site (plus ensuring an appropriate use of the donations)
•   Budget planning for the following year for the general assembly of BA in Austria
•   Planning, enforcing, supervising and monitoring of micro-credit program
•   If required, writing reports to funding agencies
•   Co-work with chief and local community (community meetings,…) on a constant basis
•   Acting as a diligent link to the village of Guabuliga; hearing and trying to implement the suggestion(s) of the village people on project ideas that you present to the BA Board

Networking with existing cooperation partners and make existing cooperations grow

Qualification Required & Experience

•   University Degree of development aid, social work, social management or related Studies
•   Working experience in the field of development aid, as well as experience in the field of community work and family reintegration
•   Experience in Project Management and Team Leading
•   Fluent English, both written and oral
•   Ideally familiar with Mampruli dialect
•   Strategic thinker
•   Strong network capabilities
•   Competency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
•   Ability to work well with a diverse range of people from different cultures and religions
•   Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
•   Detail-oriented
•   Sense of initiative / self starter
