Job Summary

Principal Accountabilities

•  Takes responsibilities for daily site work
•  Liaises with Site Engineers of contracting company to ensure compliance with design drawings, specifications, and to ensure targets dates are met per schedule
•  Seeks clarification of design from Project Manager to whom he/she also reports each day on progress of work or delays in execution of projects
•  Conducts regular site inspection. Makes sure any changes in plan have been communicated to engineers of contracts and other sub-contractors of their representatives. Attends all site meetings
•  Monitors work environment for any hazards and assists to conduct quality and safety audit and highlights possible risk on projects
•  Assist with project documentations as necessary
•  Checks contractor bill for payment and verifies

Qualification Required & Experience

Qualification, Knowledge, Experience, Skill and Personal Attributes

•  A Bachelor's Degree Civil Engineering or Building Technology from a reputable University is required for the position.
•  Candidate should have 3-4 years post qualification experience
•  Candidate should be very conversant with Project Management Techniques
•  Candidate must have good interpersonal skills
•  Computer literacy is required for the successful candidate and he/she must be able to use AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Programmes and MS Project
•  Knowledge in pipe and tube Formwork system and quick stage formwork system will be an added advantage
