The Ministry of Education invites interested and qualified applicants to apply for: Public Private Partnership Coordinator

Job Purpose

• To establish the framework for the development of educational sector infrastructure and service delivery programmes that ensures value for money based on the PPP model

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensures that all projects of the sector Agencies are consistent with prevailing government policies, objectives, rules and regulations on PPP
• Ensures the availability of appropriate internal structures, human resources, decision-making systems and processes that will continually promote PPP
• Provide an assessment of the potential for pursuing PPPs, including cost-effective, feasibility, hiring of short-term consultants and provide policy advice on the overall direction of PPP in education infrastructure and service delivery
• Participates in the inspection of ongoing PPP projects and programmes to assess and report on the effectiveness of funds utilisation and the ability to obtain full benefits
• See to it that the MOUs, plans and contracts submitted by the sector agencies and stakeholders for approval meet both the goals and objectives of the ministry and the National PPP objectives
• Coordinate the implementation of PPP initiatives in the Ministry and establish a database on the Ministry's PPP project to track their status, monitor their performance and advice the chief Director

Qualification Required & Experience

• Must possess a relevant Master's Degree with research experience from an accredited tertiary institution
• A minimum of 10 years of post qualification relevant working experience
