Job Vacancy For Purchasing Superintendent At African Mining Services (Tarkwa)



Key Duties:

•  To manage daily procurement and administrative duties related to maintenance, repair, operating (MRO) and capital equipment purchases, contracting services and contracts administration
•  To manage Purchasing activities, system records, managing availability and distribution of parts to departments, co-ordinating expediting and order reconciliation to ensure system accuracy
•  To provide direct supervision to subordinates whilest adhering to AMSG administrative policy and procedures
•  To assist in the development of purchasing strategies
•  To implement staff development of purchasing staff in line with AMSG's Succession Planning Policy
•  To co-ordinate activities of the purchasing department with other major user departments
•  To ensure compliance of all audit requirements
•  To provide Management with detailed analysis obtained from Data with ERP System (Pulse)

Remuneration: Very attractive and commensurate with experience

Qualification Required & Experience

•  BSc/HND Procurement and Supply Chain Management or equivalent
•  Minimum 10 years experience in Supply Chain Management
•  Advanced Excel and Word Skills. Knowledge of Access is an advantage
•  Must be well versed in the field of Health, Safety and Environment
•  Must be computer literate (PRONTO/PULSE)
•  Must be fit and capable to perform on any AMSG Project site
