Job Summary

The quantity surveyor will be responsible for evaluating the cost of any construction project undertaken by the company from start to finish

Role Responsibilities

•   Preparation of contracts including details of quantities of required materials at various stages of the construction project
•   Undertake ongoing cost analysis of maintenance and repair work
•   Undertake feasibility studies of various projects
•   Allocate upcoming work and analyse completed work of contractors prior to payment
•   Undertake site visits, project assessments and make projections for the future.

Qualification Required & Experience

Background, Skills & Attributes

•   HND or University Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related field
•   At least 3 to 5 years experience in building construction
•   Professional certification and/or membership from the Ghana Institute of Surveyors is an advantage
•   Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with colleagues and superiors
•   An active interest in real estate construction and projects
•   Ready to travel when needed
