?About the Role

?As a Radiographer at West-View Medical Centre, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily focused on X-ray and medical imaging. Your expertise will be vital in providing high-quality images for our physicians, contributing directly to timely and effective patient diagnoses and treatment plans.

?Key Responsibilities

?• Operate and maintain digital X-ray equipment and other imaging modalities effectively and safely.
• ?Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring their comfort and safety.
• ?Practice strict radiation safety protocols to protect patients and work place colleagues.
• ?Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all images are correctly uploaded for radiologist review.
• ?Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to optimize patient care and workflow.
• ?Adhere to all safety, infection control, and quality assurance protocols.

?What We’re Looking For

?• Certification or registration as a Radiographer with the relevant professional body/council.
• ?Proven experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating proficiency in general radiography and digital imaging.
• ?Excellent technical skills and a deep knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and radiation physics.
• ?Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient empathy and clear instruction.
• ?Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
• ?A commitment to continuing professional development and staying current with imaging technology.
