We are looking for a dynamic Recovery Manager to primarily oversees the collection of delinquent loans, bad debt, or non-performing loans (NPLs) to minimize financial loss for a lending institution. Key duties include developing recovery strategies, managing debt collection teams, negotiating repayments with clients, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and bank policies

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Design and implement recovery plans for delinquent and written-off loans
•Supervise collection officers, set KPIs, and ensure performance targets are met.
•Monitor credit risk trends and recommend preventive actions to reduce nonperforming loans (NPLs).
•Oversee legal recovery processes including litigation, auctions, and settlements.
•Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on recovery performance and portfolio health. Collaborate with branch managers, legal teams, and external recovery agents.
•Perform other tasks assigned by direct supervisor and/or head of department.
•Develop and revise policies, guidelines, and training materials based on business growth and management assignments.

Qualification Required & Experience

REQUIREMENTS

•Bachelor’s degree in finance and Banking, law, business or related fields.
•Minimum 3 years’ experience in related to the loan collection function.
•Good written in English
•Strong leadership and team management.
•Advanced negotiation and conflict resolution.
•Deep understanding of credit laws and banking regulations.
•Analytical thinking and financial acumen.
•Proficiency in recovery systems and reporting tools.
