The Governing Council of the Catholic University College of Ghana is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons to the position of REGISTRAR at the Catholic University College of Ghana.

Duties:

•   The Registrar is Secretary to the University College. As such he/she is Secretary to the Chancellor, the Board of Trustees/Governing Council, the Senate and all statutory committees of the University College.
•   The Registrar, under the Vice-Chancellor, is responsible for the day-to-day administration of University College and managing resources, students and other related issues. He/she assists in creating the necessary environment for the pursuit of academic work.
•   The Registrar is the custodian of the University Seal and Records

Terms of Appointment:

•   The appointment is full-time and applicants should not be more than 61 years old by 1st August, 2013.
•   The salary and conditions attached to the position are very competitive

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A good University First Degree, and
•   A Master’s degree
•   Attained the grade of Deputy Registrar or served a minimum of six years in the grade of Senior Assistant Registrar in a Higher Educational Institution or
•   Considerable administrative or managerial experience, of at least 18 years in industry or the public service. Experience in University administration will be an advantage

Previous relevant working experience in University administration or tertiary institutions will be an advantage.
