Job Vacancy For Registrar At Central University College (Tema)



Central University College, an accredited Christian University invites applications from suitably qualified and competent professionals to fill the following vacant position: Registrar

The Registrar is the Head of the administrative support services and reports to the President of the University.

Key Responsibilities:

•   Secretary to the governing Council and other key Boards and Committees of the University.
•   Responsible for the general administrative support functions in the University which include: Legal, Finance, General Administration , ICT, Human Resource Management, Procurement, Corporate Affairs, etc.
•   Keep custody of the common seals, related document and instruments of the University
•   Manage all University statutory events (congregation,, matriculation, etc)
•   Maintain relevant University and student records and data.
•   Perform any other functions as may be assigned to him/her by the President.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Minimum of Master's Degree in any field of the Humanities, Social Science, Law, Education, Administration/Management or any relevant field.
•   A good grasp of administrative procedures especially relating to higher education and/or the public services.
•   Relevant post-qualification experience of not less than fifteen (15) years
•   Membership of a recognised professional body would be a significant advantage

•   A strategic thinker who takes initiative in policy formulation and strategy implementation.
•   A team player with excellent interpersonal, verbal and writing skills.
•   A sober, mature personality with the capacity to drive the vision of the institution.
•   Capable of handling and coordination multiple roles with high professional, moral and ethical standard
•   Ability ot maintain strict administrative confidentiality

Considerable experience in University administration and higher education management at the top echelon would be an advantage
