Job Vacancy For Registrar At Christian Service University College (Kumasi)



Christian Service University College is an Evangelical Christian private institution of higher learning and was established in 1974. It aims to be a first class Evangelical Christian University that promotes knowledge about Christ through training of men and women with moral uprightness, academic excellence and passion to serve and transform society.

Job Summary

The functions include:

•   The Registrar is the Chief Operating Officer of the University College.
•   He/she is responsible to the President for the day-to-day administration of the University College.
•   The Registrar is also the Secretary to the University college Council and the Academic Board.
•   He/she advises the Executive Head of the institution on matters pertaining to the administration of the institution.

Terms Of Appointment:

•   The appointment is full time and applicant should be able to serve a full term of three years before his/her 65th birthday.
•   Attractive Salary and conditions of service are attached to the position.

Qualification Required & Experience

Candidates for the position must have a good educational background and an extensive working experience, including the following:

•   A minimum of a Master's degree.
•   Not less than 12 years post qualification working experience in a tertiary institution, four (4) of which should be at the grade of at least Deputy Registrar or Senior Assistant Registrar or equivalent.
•   Strong managerial and organizational skills.
•   Excellent administrative and supervisory skills.
•   A deep appreciation of the academic working environment.
•   Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.
•   A praticising Christian
•   Good moral Standing
•   A good Knowledge of the rules, procedures and practices of a tertiary institution.
