A progressive institution, involved in the development and operation of waste processing and management facilities, requires for immediate employment a Resident Project Manager to oversee and manage contracts and construction related activities in relation to its multi-million dollar project.

Position: Resident Project Manager

Qualifications: Degree in Civil Engineering or related profession, with a minimum of ten (10) years post qualification experience in the areas of Civil Construction, Project Management, contract Administration and construction management.

Duties

Contract administration and construction management of civil engineering and environmental quality infrastructural projects, ensuring that projects are implemented in accordance with specifications, projected schedules and budget

•  Oversee direct construction of various sub-structural, concrete and building structures, road works and general construction works.
•  Liaise with and oversee work by contractors on site and ensure conformance with contractual conditions and specifications.
•  Contract Administration of executed infrastructural projects.
•  Oversee determination and procurement of various materials, plant and works required for the project
•  Oversee and supervise preparation for tender documents, estimation and quantity surveying
•  Progress payment certification
•  Arrangement of site and other co-ordination meetings
•  Progress and other reporting

Project management and contract management certification would be an added advantage.

Knowledge of CAD will also be an added asset

Tenure: Two year contract.
Duty Station: Kumasi
