ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•  Establish good communication and good will with all contracted security companies operating on NETIS  sites
•  Responsible for providing leadership, advice and counsel to line management on security policy and practices. Identifies exposures and to recommend and develop corrective plans as appropriate
•  Establishes/maintains robust customer relationship to ensure complete understanding of customer processes to enable the delivery of viable security responses.
•  Responsible for planning, developing and implementing security plans, security programs such as Emergency Response and Crisis Management, Physical Security, Information Protection, Incident Management and/or Investigation.
•  Develop methods to improve security policies, processes, and practices, and recommend changes to management.
•  Direct preparation and distribution of written and verbal information to inform managers, employees and others of security policies, procedures and practices.
•  Plans, programs for, and directs the Company’s emergency response program as it pertains to security, liaison with local law enforcement,
•  Ensure all patrolling, inspection and security duties are performed to a high standard
•  Monitor and maintain all product and performance standards and ensure action is taken when standards are not met
•  Advise management in improving and carrying out policies in accordance with security and institutional, state and federal regulations.
•  Perform site audits in order to eliminate potential theft implications and determine how to make premises and grounds safe and secure.
•  Maintain the loyalty and discipline of all security personnel
•  Ensure the all security personnel as well as security contractors’ staff are adhering to security procedures
•  Liaison officer to our security contractors and sub-contractors
•  Establish good cooperation with privileges clients or suppliers
•  Coordinate with the local investigators in crimes handling and investigating
•  Prepare security plan for specific events (temporarily installations, change of personnel, etc)

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•  Performs incident analysis and investigation relative to all incidents with advice and closure to all responsible functional management and supporting security management.
•  To ensure strict adherence of company’s H, S &W and absolute rules at all times.
•  To report and document any incident or accident occurred.
•  Follow safety and hazardous instructions before start of work.
•  Ensure a clean Environment.
•  Ensure presence of Electrical safety equipment on site e.g. Fire buckets, Fire Extinguishers, etc.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

•  Provides leadership, advice and counsel to all security staff in achieving current and long rage strategic program objectives.
•  Manage the design and development of specialized training to guide security officers and others through security decisions and actions.
•  Monitors and evaluates unit performance on key security issues and programs, recommends corrective action programs here appropriate
•  Develops and implements security coordinator program which includes developing a training program for all security coordinators for each region
•  Ensures that standard procedures for all security-related issues are in place and periodically updated

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

•  Number of monthly incidents(Security Breach/ issues)
•  Maintenance of Company equipments and resources.
•  Prompt and appropriate reporting (Written and Verbal)
•  Proactive and self motivated team player.
•  Abide by safety and health procedures at all time.
•  Meeting the KPI specifications.

Qualification Required & Experience

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

•  Security professional with a proven management experience within the security industry, the public sector or armed services.
•  A minimum of a Diploma/HND or its equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

At least 2 years experience in security management in a large organisation

KNOWLEDGE

•  Good Knowledge of locations and country.
•  Ability to take sharp decision as first line support and document operational Procedures.
•  Ability to read and analyse human actions and thoughts.
