The Presbyterian Centre for Vocational Instructors' Development (PRECEVID) is a centre of Excellence to train Professionals for the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector in Ghana.

Job Summary:

PRECEVID is a new and still evolving centre located in Kumasi and seeks dedicated, energetic and competent persons to occupy position in the Hospitality Unit.

Role:

•  Responsible for the protection of persons and property
•  Patrol the premises of PRECEVID and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows and gates
•  Answer alarms & investigates disturbances
•  Monitor and authorizes entrance and departure of employees, visitors and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises
•  Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or properly, damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons or unusual occurrences
•  Act as the premises fire guard

Qualification Required & Experience

•  Senior High School Certificate or equivalent education
•  Prior related experience with any of the Security Agencies would be an advantage

Competencies:

•  Demonstrates good communication skills and interpersonal skills
•  Demonstrates knowledge of the principles and accepted practices in investigation, fire-fighting and crime prevention
