Purpose of Consultancy

The Senior Financial Accounting Manager will establish a robust financial and administrative framework that ensures:

• Strong internal controls and transparency
• Compliance with donor and international standards and
• Timely, accurate financial reporting

Key Responsibilities

• Lead ACA's finance function and maintain sound financial systems
• Develop strategies for fundraising and financial sustainability
• Manage donor compliance and reporting (especially GIZ requirements)
• Build relationships with financial institutions and donors.
• Develop financial policies, manuals and capacity-building programs
• Ensure adherence to internal, donor and international standards

Qualification Required & Experience

• ACCA Level 3 (or equivalent professional qualification)
• Minimum of 7 years senior-level financial management experience (NGO or private sector).
• Proven fundraising and donor engagement record
• Expertise in grant management, financial reporting and compliance.
• Experience with GIZ-funded projects is an asset
• Strong leadership, analytical and communication skills
