Purpose of the job

To lead the company to attain leadership position in the capital market and to expand its international business links and dealings. The ideal candidate should be able to arrange and conclude deals with strategic and institutional investors.

Key Accountabilities

•   Develop and implement long and short team strategies for the brokerage business including preparation of business plans and annual budgets
•   Achieve business targets in term of volumes, market share and profits across all business segments
•   Plan and implement the development of the brokerage business, targeting domestic and foreign institution, corporate bodies and high net worth (HNW) individuals
•   Plan and lead the development of new service delivery channels and other tie-ups to enhance market share
•   Maintain and develop excellent relationships with important customers and prospective customers
•   Formulate & review training programmes and ongoing product/other relevant refreshers for the brokerage team
•   Ensure that business is run in compliance with all regulations

Age: Not less than 35 years with excellent health

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Master's degree in Banking and Finance, Economics, or any relevant field of study
•   A licensed broker
•   Proven track record of success in brokerage roles
•   CFA qualication or membership of other relevant professional body would be an advantage

Experience

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years working experience in the financial services sector.
