Description Of Job

•  Plan and implent slope stability monitoring strategies and report all geo-technical hazards.
•  Maintain the geo-technical database.
•  Geo-technical logging of diamond drill holes.
•  Liaise with mine production to ensure geo-technical design parameters are achieved.
•  Review the design slopes parameters.
•  Assist with geological mapping in the pit.
•  Assist the Chief Mine Geologist in departmental budgeting.
•  Any other assigned duties

Qualification Required & Experience

•  Minimum 5 years practical experience in geo-technical engineering.
•  Good command of spoken and written English.
•  Good computer skills – 3D Mining Software (preferably Surpac), specialist geo-technical software.
•  Degree in Geology or related discipline with (minimum requirement).
