Job Description

•   The successful applicant will represent Point Innovate, their solar products and its solar capabilities it provides to the general public.
•   The successful applicant will be expected to ensure that within a team or as an individual, all installations are efficiently and effectively completed to the company’s specification, ensuring customer satisfaction.
•   As an Installer the individual will be required to understand solar, understand the benefits of solar and have the knowledge and experience in installing solar, fully appreciating the importance of satisfying our customers need(s) and professionally delivering on behalf of the company.

Key responsibilities:

•   Ensure there is an understanding of the site where the install is going to be done and if need be go out a day before the install to assess needs and properly assemble product for the install.
•   Ensure all products needed to be taken to an assigned installation is properly detailed and checked prior to leaving for an installation.
•   Participate in comprehensive training and education on our product line as well as teach junior installers on appropriate solar install.
•   Know how  best to get products locally and quickly match specifications that work best for solar systems, and the distribution of energy from panel to batteries and invertors.
•   Understand and convey the required level of knowledge of our products to customers curious about the capabilities of the products during an install. Successfully representing the philosophy and vision of Point Innovate Ghana.
•   Needs to be detail oriented and also time conscious in regards to company expectations, instructions and in regards to expectations for customer installs.
•   Communicate effectively any issues with installs to management and if necessary to customers concerning install delays or any issues of concern.
•   Actively ensure all tools and accessories needed for an install are readily available and/or easily purchased for all installs to be carried on smoothly.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   2 plus years install experience, customer management, install team leadership.
•   Accredited Institutional Solar Installer Certificate.

Required Skills: Strong communication skills, energetic, positive attitude, presentation skills, presentation development, computer skills- Word, Excel, Power Point
