The Technical Officer is responsible for ensuring the technical functioning of the school.

Areas:

Maintenance: service and follow up of the maintenance of the technical equipment Repair and monitoring of repair, reconstruction, expansion jobs
Expertise: Follow up on major and minor construction works

•   Equipment review and suggestions for improvements
•   Technical audits
•   Identify priority projects and formalise a mid to long-term plan
•   Design terms of reference
•   Identify, contact relevant suppliers
•   Negotiate and select the optimum supplier
•   Plan, implement, coordinate and monitor progress according to the terms of reference
•   Validate the hand-over / delivery

Areas Of Intervention

•   Plumbing
•   Electricity
•   Generators
•   Borehole
•   Painting
•   Fire security
•   Construction works

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Diploma of higher education for technicians or an equivalent experience
•   A professional experience is necessary

Other Skills:
Manual skills, ability to manipulate maintenance or repair tools.
