The company is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented individuals to manage the Transport section and ensure the efficient operation of the entire fleet of vehicles of GCGL and provide reliable and dependable transport service within company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•   Responsible for the roadworthiness of the fleet of vehicles for the company
•   Plan, implement and control the scheduling of vehicles for assignments, maintenance and repairs
•   Ensure that there is optimum match-up between drivers and routes to facilitate time effective deliveries
•   Liaise between the company and vehicle service providers
•   Manage vehicle maintenance programme and workshop to ensure that the optimum numbers of vehicles are available to meet demand, including stock control of parts in the workshop
•   Maintain full records for all vehicles from acquisition, during use and de-commissioning
•   Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports
•   Ensure that vehicle operating costs are within budget
•   Develop, maintain and implement duty rosters for drivers

•   Good knowledge of motor traffic regulations in Ghana
•   Keen eye for detail
•   Team leadership and Supervisory skills
•   Flexible attitude to working arrangements
•   Strong computer literacy skills
•   Excellent verbal written and presentation skills

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A minimum of HND in Transport Management or related field with at least five (5) years experience in managing a large fleet
•   Must possess a valid driving license (D1, D2, D3)
