Job Vacancy For Transport Coordinator



Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the roadworthiness of the fleet of vehicles for the company
• Plan, implement and control the scheduling of vehicles for assignments, maintenance and repairs
• Ensure that there is optimum match up between drivers and routes to facilitate time effective deliveries
• Liaise between the company and vehicle services providers
• Manage vehicle maintenance programme and workshop to ensure that the optimum numbers of vehicles are available to meet demand, including stock control of parts in the workshop
• Maintain full records of all vehicles from acquisition, during use and decommissioning
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports
• Ensure that vehicle operating costs are within budget
• Develop, maintain and implement duty rosters for drivers

Qualification Required & Experience

• A minimum of HND in Transport Management or related field with at 5 years experience in managing a large fleet
• Must possess a valid driving license (D1,D2,D3).

Skills / Competencies

• Good knowledge of motor traffic regulations in Ghana
• Keen eye for detail
• Team leadership and supervisory skills
• Flexible attitude to working arrangements
• Strong computer literacy skills
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
