The TV Show Producer / Director will be responsible for planning and executing high-quality broadcast content
Main Duties and Responsibilities
The TV Show Producer / Director shall provide support for the Clerk to Parliament and Management of the Service through the Director of Broadcasting by performing the following duties:
• Developing programme concepts, formats and story lines
• Planning and overseeing pre-production and post-production activities
• Directing on-air talent, camera operators and production crew during shoots and live broadcasts
• Managing production schedules, budgets and resources
• Supervise script development, rehearsals and run-downs.
• Making creative and editorial decision during filming and editing
• Coordinating with editors, sound designers and graphics teams
• Ensuring content complies with regulatory, legal and broadcast standards
• Collaborating with network executives, sponsors and stakeholders
• Maintaining rigorous quality control and ensuring all deliverables meet production deadlines
• Performing any other duties that may be assigned by the Clerk to Parliament
Qualification Required & Experience
• A First Degree in Film, Television Production, Mass Communication, Media Studies or a related field from an accredited University with at least 4 years of post-qualification experience and a Master's Degree in a relevant subject area with professional experience as a TV producer or Director
