A reputable company in the oil and gas industry is seeking a qualified and competent individual who meets the requirements to apply for the following role:- General Manager, Terminal Management

Job Purpose:

•   The General Manager of Terminal Management is responsible for the management and storage of petroleum products in a safe, efficient, and economical manner, consistent with customer service requirements and operational goals

Key Responsibilities

•   Oversight responsibility for the overall strategic management of all the company's terminals used for the receipt, storage, and delivery of petroleum products
•   Control and direct all activities at terminals to ensure the safe, efficient and economical product distribution, consistent with customer service requirements and operational goals
•   Ensure that key performance indicators are achieved and maintained at all terminals
•   Responsible for the application of industry best practice is support of HSE, storage and operational excellence
•   Determine strengths and weaknesses of terminals and assess where support and challenge is required across their operation and provide advice accordingly
•   Establishing and maintaining a training program for all Terminal Management staff soas to ensure the continuing development of technical and other skill sets
•   Have oversight responsibility for ensuring that there are no product losses in storage within acceptable international standards

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
•   Master's Degree in Engineering
•   Project Management and Six Sigma Certification is a plus
•   15 years working experience with 8 plus years of related professional experience
•   5 years management experience
•   Have fundamental understanding of operations principles and processes and has ability to oversee their implementation
•   Demonstrated safety leadership and promoting a safety culture amongst all staff
•   Knowledge of HSE is required
•   Ability to oversee vendor relationships (such a business reviews, cost and risk containment, and qualiy service
•   Demonstrated financial management & negotiation skills
•   Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service, driving complex work efforts and delivering results
•   Excellent stakeholder management skills
•   Strong communication skills - oral, written and presentation
