Job Vacancy For Head of Brand Management



An exciting opportunity is available for a strong brands and marketing professional to join our Marketing & Communications team as Head of Brand Management in the Commercial Department. (S)He will report to the Marketing Communications Director and will lead the brands team and be responsible for developing annual brand marketing plans with the objective of building the Company’s brand and achieving set brand equity scores.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Building

• Actively work towards providing a differentiated and clear brand positioning, to establish the brand as the most preferred in the market;
• Translates commercial strategy into action plan in cooperation with other relevant stakeholders;
• Regularly monitor brand tracker scores, and work with the team to agree on action plans;
• Ensure all assets from agency are aligned to the Company’s brand design & equity objectives;
• Work with Product Managers to develop annual plans including experiential for the various segments;
• Ensure single message communication across all platforms;
• Analyze product/service performance and prepare market feedback report.

Marketing Management

• Develop annual brand building plans;
• Define and manage advertising and media buying budget;
• Lead brand teams to execute planned campaigns as per the marketing roadmap.

Media management

• Liaise with relevant teams to develop annual media plans;
• Supervise and follow through on all media buying contract negotiations;
• Regularly monitor media plans and compliance scores to ensure achievement of media KPIs;
• Continuous analysis of media landscape and competitors’ media activities.

Qualification Required & Experience

• A University Degree in any field with emphasis on Marketing and related disciplines;
• A minimum of Seven (7)+ years relevant working experience in Telecoms/FMCG with a minimum Three (3) years’ experience in senior brand management or trade marketing position;
• Demonstrated experience and success in brand and media management.
• Ability to quantify all brand and communication initiatives into measurable KPIs’, TOMA (Top of Mind Awareness), Consideration, ITP, Share of Spend, Share of Voice, GRP’s, CPRP’s, etc;
