Job Vacancy For Head Of Human Capital



A reputable company in the financial services industry seeks to fill a vacancy for Head Capital. The successful candidate will work to ensure that HR policies and practices across the organisation are of the highest standards. He or She will work alongside senior managers to enhance the collaborative culture and capability of the organisation, leading the Human Capital (HC) plan and team.

This is a varied, hands-on role which would best suit someone with a strong operational background with at least 8 years work experience in the same role and has the potential to move into a more strategic role.

Key Responsibilities
The Head of HC will participate in the organisation's growth plans, providing support to managers, supporting key initiatives, taking full responsibility for HC operations and managing the team.

This will include:

•   Implementing a Human Capital plan to support the needs of the organisation
•   Acting as a business partner to senior managers to develop and drive HC strategy
•   Advising on a wide range of HC related issues
•   Ensuring processes and policies are fit for purpose
•   Ensuring compliance with current employment law issues.
•   coordinating a simplified performance appraisal system to ensure all staffs have clear objectives and development plans
•   Any other duties that will be assigned by the executive director as and when needed

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Applicant must have a first degree in Human Resource Management and a master's degree in Human resource will be added advantage
•   Professional qualification in Human Resource Management
•   Must have a minimum of 8 years working experience of which two years should be in managerial position
•   Background in the financial services industry is an added advantage

•   The candidate will be working with highly qualified and committed people and will therefore need to prossess the following skills and abilities
•   Confidence and ability to lead the people plan for the organisation
•   Have excellent communication skills, be articulate and confident in his/her delivery
•   Have the ability to inspire others and to actively participate in the leadership of the organisation
•   You should be resilient with the ability to analyse complex situations
•   Candidate must have ability to develop and manage talent.
•   Candidate must have hands-on experience in managing performance and ability to design learning and development programmes for staff
