A reputable educational institution in Tamale has vacancy for the position of a Head Teacher

Objectives of Position

• Provide strategic and operational leadership to the school community i.e pupils, teaching and non-teaching staff
• Ensure the availability to adequate resources for the promotion of effective learning
• Handle the day-to-day administration of the school
• Improve visibility of the school to increase enrollment and for the long term sustainability of the school

Assign duties and monitor activities of both teaching and non-teaching staff in order to achieve set targets

Qualification Required & Experience

• Minimum of a good first degree in education, education management, social sciences or equivalent. Post graduate qualification in Education will be an advantage
• Must have strong leadership skills including analytical/critical thinking
• Must have good oral and written communications skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel required
• Report writing skills required
