Job Vacancy For Head of Transaction Banking



We are a reputable financial institution with nationwide branch network looking to recruit committed and hardworking individuals for the following role:- Head of Transaction Banking

Main Purpose of Role

Responsible for planning, managing and effectively marketing and sale of transaction Banking products. Retain and increase funds from existing customers as well as capture new business relationships

Ensure the end to end effective delivery of Transaction Banking proposition to the customers where revenue generation can be expeditiously realized so as to achieve the desired financial objectives of the team and the Bank.

Key Responsibilities

•   Develop and implement strategies, objectives, financial budget and other support systems (operating manuals and operating procedures, etc.) including monitoring mechanisms in managing Transactional Banking within the Bank.
•   Develop and implement strategies for selling transactional Banking solutions to existing and potential customers
•   Liaise with client relationship teams and internal business partners to provide the specialist partnership in the securing of cash management mandates and transactions
•   Working in conjunctions with the client relationship team actively to target the client portfolio
•   Manage the transfer of best practices between markets, in order to leverage the Transaction banking capabilities with customers.
•   Identify opportunities for new / incremental business with the bank's clients and work with relevant internal stakeholders to turn opportunities into revenue for the bank
•   Increase client penetration and revenues for the bank by actively promoting the bank's network and product capabilities
•   Partner with Relationship team in account planning for identified accounts and ensure account plans contain appropriate information on opportunities and strategy for transaction banking solutions
•   Establish the mobile channel for driving acquisition, self-service and retention across existing consumer, retail business and corporate customer segments.
•   Develop and implement the Bank's internet banking products and services and website presence
•   Develop, implement and manage a range of product and solutions so as to maximize underlying economic profits and attain consistent growth in market share
•   Carry out strategic business goals as set by senior management and to work closely with all sales channels, product partners, external business partners and in-house colleagues so as to maximize resources and opportunities
•   Analyze business requirement, develop, implement,  and evaluate implementation of ATM & self services solutions (Automated Teller Machine, ATM Switch, Debit Cards, Middleware and delivery channel) to support banking services
•   Identify, analyse, sell and support cash management products and services to establish business customers and targeted prospective corporate clients.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   University degree in Computer Science or related filed plus a postgraduate degree in Banking /Finance or related field
•   10 years experience in related role with 5 years of relevant Transaction Banking and Product Management experience.
•   3 years of experience in managerial role
