•   Electronics and Electrical Engineering
•   Building and Construction Engineering and Trade & Investments

Main Purpose of the Job

•   To carry out research, teaching and administration within the Departments.
•   Reports to: Head of Department. Grades: Senior Lecturer/Lectuer.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   PhD/MPhil Desirable: Membership of a relevant professional organization
•   Previous experience: Essential - Research in areas of specialization
•   Desirable: Assessment of student work, curriculum design, engagement with scholarly/professional community, Pastoral care of students.

•   Strong academic leadership and management
•   Responsibility for teaching and students
•   Responsibility for research
•   Knowledge transfer
•   People management
•   Quality assurance and development of academic/research standing
•   The H.O.D will be responsible and accountable for setting and advancing the academic strategy of the Department in line with Faculty and College strategic plans and direction to ensure it achieves the highest possible standards of excellence in all its activities.
