Yinson Production is a multinational Company in the business of building, operating and managing Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessels, Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) vessels, and Mobile Offshore Production Units (MOPU) for the Oil and Gas Industry. Job Title: Junior Maintenance Engineer
JOB REF: GHOS – JMTE - 30

Mission

Monitoring and controlling machinery operation, maintenance, and other technical and safety work as required by the MSUP or SMTE.

Scope

MCR or engine room watches. The management may assign additional tasks not listed in Job Description.

Duties

•   Familiar with Permit to Work system.
•   Follow Permit to Work procedures.
•   Responsible for specifically assigned routine surveillance of equipment and installations.
•   Responsible for carrying out routine safety checks on equipment as required by the SMTE.
•   Undertake training relevant to the position requirements.
•   Ensure personnel qualifications are established and that each individual is given the opportunity of improvement through selective on the job trainings.
•   Member of Emergency Response Team.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Essential Criteria - to meet the requirements for certification as an officer in charge of an engineering watch in manned engine-room STCW code A-III/1.
•   5 years’ experience on the offshore installations and 1 year as Junior Engineer.
•   Standard of competence according to Yinson Competence Assurance Matrix.
•   Very good written and spoken English.
