Job Vacancy For L.C.S Regional Manager



A leading global supplier of mineral processing and construction equipment, parts and services is looking to recruit for the following position to manage key customer projects in Ghana.

Qualification Required & Experience

The following minimum qualifications, skills and experience are required for the position:

•   Minimum of BSc Mechnical Engineering or equivalent degree
•   Minimum of ten (10) years experience in the management of service resource in the heavy industry sector - preferably mining
•   A proven track record of professional accomplishments and reliability
•   Familiarity with the broad range of Mining and Construction equipment / products and services
•   High sense of urgency and ability to develop action plans, and meet deadlines
•   High level of computer skills is essential
•   Willingness to actively engage in problem solving
•   Experience in complex matrix organisations / relationships

He/She will be required to perform the following duties:

While Project Managers are directly responsible for all performance aspects of their respective contracts, the Regional LCS Manager is responsible to provide assistance and direction to ensure:

•   Resources, tools and training are in place so that all organisation responsibilities at site can be achieved and conducted in a safe and professional manner
•   Competence and capability of all site resources
•   Customers are providing a safe work environment for our site employees
•   Full implementation of adequate HSE programme at site that abides to all customer requirements and local legislation
•   Financial performance of each LCS contract in the region and ensuring any remedial action of non-performance
•   Timely monthly performance reports of each LCS contract in the region
•   Accounting of each contract performance within guidelines - cost reserves, depreciation, sales recognition, etc.
•   Price adjustments are followed and implemented as per contract requirment
•   There is adequate inventory of parts at site, on order, in the pipeline, planned, etc to fulfill contractual obligations
•   Strong communication process and relationship between the customer and the LCS site dispute resolution between company and customers
