A private medical laboratory located at Madina New Road, Accra, is currently looking for suitable candidates to fill the following vacancy: Laboratory Technician

Job Summary

•   Performing laboratory test as directed by the Senior Laboratory Technician
•   Carrying out routine tasks accurately and following strict methodologies to carry out analysis as directed by the Senior Laboratory Technician
•   Support in maintaining and operating standard laboratory equipment e.g. Chemistry analyzer, hematology analyzer, centrifuge machine, electrophoresis machine etc.
•   Run day to day laboratory duties as directed by the Senior Laboratory Technician
•   Support in conducting outreach services as and when required
•   Visit facilities to create awareness on available services

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Must possess Diploma or higher qualification in Laboratory Technology from a recognized institution
•   Two or more years post-qualification experience in a medical laboratory setting
•   Ability to drive with a valid Driving License will be an advantage
•   Additional skill in the operation of ultrasound scanning machine will be an advantage
