Job Summary

•   Reporting to the Treasurer, the Liquidity and Funding Manager will be responsible for Bank liquidity monitoring, forecasting, risk management and policy setting.
•   The successful candidate will also work with senior management in formulating optimised funding strategies under normal and stress circumstances

Key Responsibilities

•   Develop and maintain liquidity and funding systems / tools and ensure they remain up to date with latest changes and development in te industry
•   Participate in liquidity stress test analysis and generate insights for funding strategy
•   Identify daily liquidity positions and recommend appropriate actions to deal execution team
•   Interact and partner with the Treasurer and other business lines in order to obtain, understand, analyse and draw conclusions with respect to potential liquidity risks and implications
•   Establish and oversee robust short, medium and long term cash flow forecasting methodology to be supported by inputs from business units challenge business units forecasts and provide high level commentary
•   Maintain and develop the liquidity stress test framework, including test methodologies and calibration of the test
•   Provide relevant liquidity risk sections for the Bank's regulatory reporting
•   Ensure the new products are correctly included in the stress test

Qualification Required & Experience

•   First degree in Accounting, Finance or related subject
•   Must possess a professional certification in Accountancy, Treasury or related field
•   An MBA or second degree in Finance, Accounting or related course will be an added advantage
•   A minimum of 6 years Treasury experience with 2 years supervising Liquidity & Funding

•   Strong analytical, creative thinking and problem solving skills
•   Ability to prioritise and organise mutiple rasks and deadlines
•   Strong ability to address and resolve complex or abstract problems
•   Must be conversant with liquidity and funding regulatory framework
