Job Vacancy For Maintenance Planner At Keegan Resources (Ghana) Ltd (Esaase)



Job Summary

•   Plan maintenance effectively to ensure maximum equipment reliability through using planned maintenance most effectively;
•   Plan maintenance effectively to ensure equipment is quickly returned to design capability through using planned maintenance most effectively;
•   Ensure maximum equipment availability through the effective use of planned maintenance;
•   Managing maintenance data collection and information gathering to more effectively provide the planned maintenance service in future;
•   Order materials for planned, unplanned/breakdown jobs;
•   Review and update information required for the preparation of Maintenance
•   schedules;
•   Review and approve work orders for maintenance work;
•   Provides technical direction to employees of shops performing preventative maintenance, and inspects results;
•   Reports status of all shutdowns and preventative maintenance to Engineering Manager;
•   Perform any other related duties assigned from time to time by supervisor

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a reputable institution;
•   Trades qualification will be an added advantage;
•   Minimum of five (5) years' post qualification work experience in a similar position three (3) of which should have been in the mining industry;
•   A valid Ghanaian driver's license will be advantageous;
•   Well developed oral and written communication skills;
•   Excellent Mechanical diagnostic and repair skills;
•   Excellent Planning, Organizing and report wiring skills; .
•   Quality control, critical thinking and Analytical skills.
