A reputable Private Health Insurance company seeks the services of a Medical Services Manager.

Job Description

•   Effectively implement policies formulated by the GM and board in order to enhance the company's performance
•   Implement the company's policies, procedures, processes and strategy, particularly in the area of claims, operations provider network management and customer servicing
•   Establish good working relationships with policy holders, brokers, health service providers
•   Negotiating and ensuring preferential prices for the company from all the targeted health service providers
•   Support and monitor claims processing including authorization, adjudication, problem resolution and payment of providers claims, members claims and third party administration
•   Analysis of claims and implement effective loss control measures so as to reduce the claim cost periodically.
•   Ensure customer service delivery by meeting cut-off dates and ensure that targets for claims adjudication and settlement are met
•   Co-ordinate and collate operations reports from various departmental heads for the Board's use and preparation of monthly reports and analysis of operating activities
•   Evaluate performance appraisal of all employees under your supervision for higher productivity
•   Formulation of a comprehensive training plan and conduct training of the employees after assessing their training needs
•   Monitor the operations of the medical insurance software run by the company
•   Any other duties that may be assigned by the GM from time to time

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Must be a Medical Doctor
•   At least 5 - 10 years working experience in a related field
