Role Purpose

Shape the direction of Tigo’s offering for acquiring new customers; inspiring compelling offerings for them.

As the Youth Acquisition Manager for Tigo, you’ll shape the future direction of the company’s Mobile Youth (Digital) Acquisition offerings, using thorough market insights to advice on ways to improve our products and services and ensure that our offerings and welcome packs are shaped around the Acquisition of the customer.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Gross Adds Acquisition Drive

•   Define, develop and consistently revise a Subscriber Management Framework that measures the Quality of Gross Adds.
•   Working closely with the Commercial team to set Quality Gross Adds target for retailers, freelancers and retail shops.
•   Drive usage and spend pattern of subscribers within their first 60 days on the network through cross sell and up sell activities
•   Develop a model that predicts M-HVC subscribers on their first 60 days on the network and work closely with the Customer Value Management Team to retain them on the network

Improve products and services with a view to attain new Acquisition customers

•   Developing a portfolio/roadmap of customer offerings for testing, implementation and roll-out that is within the marketing budget and aligned to the overall marketing roadmap
•   Working with internal stakeholders to deliver compelling customer offerings to market through an ever-evolving Acquisition product set that are aligned with our core pillars of speed, simplicity and trust

Loyalty & Churn Management

•   Acquisition subscribers who join the network for the first 60 days & develop propositions to arrest churn
•   Working in tandem with the Loyalty Manager to develop propositions to ensure loyalty program participation targets for new subscribers are met
Customer Experience Definition
•   Work in tandem with the Customer Experience Manager and Customer Value Management Team to define the Acquisition Customer Experience for the first 60 days on the network

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Masters/Equivalent degree in Marketing/Business/Engineering
•   Essential role related knowledge, technical skills, qualifications and experience
•   Substantial experience in consumer marketing, product or brand management or strategic planning
•   Experience in the mobile services industry in emerging markets
•   Experience in the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) industry in emerging markets
