Summary of Roles

To provide coordination and supervision of the activities at the OPD to achieve maximum efficiency for the day-to-day running of the OPD.

She/he in particular shall:

•   Approves the preparation of patients bill
•   Prepares and updates surgery list for all relevant parties
•   Promotes and facilitates excellent patient records and documentation by acting as the custodian of Medical records for the hospital
•   Supervises and approves the preparation of monthly clinic report for patients and Consultants
•   Undertakes monthly audit of revenue collection for the OPD by liaising with the Finance Manager
•   Submits weekly/monthly surgery reports to the Medical Director and all relevant parties/departments
•   Writes and reviews/updates for approval by higher management OPD policies and procedures in response to changes in the operations
•   Acts as the face of FOCOS in interactions with patients at the OPD

Qualification Required & Experience

•   First Degree in the Humanities or in the Allied Health
•   A Master’s Degree in Public Health is advantageous
•   A minimum of.it least between 7 – 10 years working experience five out of
•   which should be at Managerial Level
•   Excellent skills application in the Microsoft Suite
•   Evidence of Continuing professional development and training in     management
