Local and international non-profit organisations are partnering to expand their programme portfolio in Ghana with a particular focus on supporting sustainable fisheries and coastal management initiatives. The following specialist position is expected to become available in early 2014. Job Summary
• Will work closely with key government agencies to prepare policies and legislative amendments to enable more participatory and rights-based approaches to fisheries governance.
• Lead work coordinating the development of participatory management plans for fisheries and coastal areas. Qualification Required & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree required, Master's preferred, in a related field with at least 5 years experience working on policy and legislative initiatives
