For over three decades, World Vision has been working with rural communities in all 10 Administrative Regions of Ghana to provide portable water, promote sanitation and hygiene practices, quality education, particularly at the basic level, enhance food security and respond to disasters.

•   Job Location: Savelugu

Purpose of the Position
Procure and ensure items are cost effectively delivered, by appropriately and accurately performing and leveraging market analysis to support and facilitate commodity procurement decision

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•   Carry out negotiations with the projects potential suppliers and assisting the ADPs in the same regard when applicable.
•   Liaise with NO to provide procurement operational support to the project
•   Partner with user departments in ensuring clear specifications are identified during initiation of procurement process
•   Liaise with the NO for continuous communication of supply chain processes and initiatives to end users and stakeholders
•   Develop and strengthen professional relationship between the project and its suppliers

Qualification Required & Experience

•   First Degree in Admin/BCom/Management + 2years work experience or
•   HND in Purchasing & Supply +3 years work experience
•   Part Professional qualifications required: Foundation Level + 3years experience
•   Good negotiation skills
•   Communication and interpersonal skills
•   Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
•   Must possess a valid driver’s license
