Role Purpose

To provide leadership and vision to the Project, Program and portfolio  Management process in the Operation, address common project management issues in order to support and facilitate project success – to deliver in time, on budget and with the desired quality

Key Responsibilities

Global PMO Frameworks
Support the implementation of the Global PMO Framework Model for areas of the Factory within all operations

•   Working with Local PMOs, to ensure project, program and portfolio management methodology in the Operation is compliant with Millicom Project Management competency framework
•   Ensuring that all projects have the correct artefacts, and they meet agreed quality standards and are stored in within confluence.
•   Produce Compliance reporting for key aspects of the frameworks, ie artefacts, usage, etc, by operation
•   Ensuring Common Standards are monitored and maintained
•   Support the delivery of the Automated Reporting for all operations
•   Support TCO reporting for all projects, ensuring each project is measured against triple constraints.

Global PMO Tools
Support the mission of providing standardised tools

•   Ensuring that Data Quality is maintained by managing changes as required
•   Perform Project Audit Functions
•   Support Development of Global/Regional/Local Dashboard Reporting

Global PMO Culture and Change Management
Support the implementation of PMO Culture

•   Ensuring all local PMOs have the support they need to ensure they implement the PMO culture
•   Supporting all change management activity
•   Manage Feedback

Global PMO Policies and Processes
Support the development of Global PMO Process and Policies

•   Support implementation and communication of Global PMO Processes and Policies

Global PMO and Communication Plan
Support the establishing a Common PMO language

•   Supporting the Alignment of Global and Local PMO teams , eg, establishing Key Project Management Definitions
•   Support in establishing Tigo University and Training
•   Manage PMO community tools, SharePoint, yammer

Global PMO Risks and Issue Management
Supporting and Sharing Key lessons learnt

•   Ensuring that risks are captured and escalated appropriately - through reporting
•   Capture all lesson learnt and making them available to all operations via local PMOs

Position Requirements

Knowledge in;

•   Cellular Technologies, Project management, Basic Financial Understanding, Excellent Tracking Skills, Good Analytical Skills and report capability

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Minimum 1st Degree, PMP qualification or any related certification

Experience;

•   Project Management/PMO experience preferred

Skills;

•   Good Communicator, Sound Business Acumen
•   Reporting and Microsoft Project
•   4 "E's" individual - Energetic, Energizing others, Edge to make decisions, Execute decisions
•   Leadership, mentoring and coaching skills
