The Golden Beach Hotels (GH Ltd), Parent company of three reputable Ghanaian owned Hotels located in Greater Accra, Central and Western Regions is seeking to recruit the following positions:

Job Title: Purchasing Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Assists to establish and implement purchasing policies, procedures and best practices
• Monitors ongoing compliance with purchasing policies and procedures
• Directs procurement policies to ensure all items are purchased and delivered within budget and time constraints
• Identifies and source new supplier selection process based on price quality, support, capacity and reliability
• Develops and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
• Establishes and updates an approved vendor/suppliers in support of organisational requirements
• Evaluates contracts to ensure compliance with legal requirements and organisational policies
• Monitors supplier and vendor and supplier cost, quality and delivery performance
• Oversee supplier compliance with internal quality standards and external regulations
• Manages risks relating to quality, cost, delivery and supply of purchases
• Reviews purchase orders for proper authorisation and compliance with organisational policy and procedures
• Assists to develop and manage purchasing budgets and forecasts
• Produces regular reports on purchase commitments, costs and delivery performance

Qualification Required & Experience

• Professional qualification in Purchasing and Supply, degree in Supply Management, or its equivalent
• Experience in purchasing and procurement
• Managerial experience
• Working knowledge of relevant laws and regulations relating to procurement and contracts
• Knowledge of purchasing and supply chain systems
• Basic knowledge in finance
• Practical knowledge in Materials control
