Assemblies of God Institute of Higher Learning (AGIHL), a tertiary institution situated at Kronom on the Kumasi-Offinso Road, intends to commence full operations by August 2014 for the 2014 / 2015 academic year. The Management of AGIHL is seeking to engage qualified and highly motivated candidates to fill the position of :- Rector

The rector is the academic and executive head of the institute and its chief disciplinary officer. He is thus responsible for the efficient organisation and execution of the academic, financial and administrative business of the institute in accordance with the provisions of the statutes of the AGIHL

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Be a Professor (Full or Associate) with considerable experience in teaching, research and community service
•   Have held a high level administrative positions in a university or analogous institutions and shown evidence of organisational leadership and problem-solving skills
•   Show evidence of sound financial management and ability to raise funds
•   Have distinguished track record in research and scholarly publications in international journals
•   Have excellent interpersonal communication skills and b a team player who is honest, fair and firm, and approachable
•   Be inspirational leader to staff as well as students

Terms of Appointment

•   The Rector’s term of office shall normally be four years in the first instance and may be renewed for a further two terms of two years each subject to good performance and proven good health
•   The successful candidate shall be expected to serve only up to the compulsory retirement age of 70 years
