University Research Co., LLC (URC) URC is a global company dedicated to improving the quality of health care, social services, and health education worldwide. With a non-profit affiliate, the Center for Human Services (CHS), URC manages projects in over 45 countries, including the United States.

URC is currently seeking Regional Coordinators for Central, Western, Northern, Volta and Greater Accra regions for a USAID Health Systems Strengthening project.

Principal Responsibilities

•   Work in close collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Ghana Health Service in the implementation of project activities at various levels of the healthcare system (community health workers, CHPS, health facilities, regional and health management teams)
•   Assist in the development and/or revision of policies and strategies, as well as in identifying training needs to build capacity at regional, district and community levels.
•   Liaise with stakeholders and partners in other organizations and agencies

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Medical or nursing degree required
•   At least 5 years of professional experience in public health in Ghana
•   Proven competence in planning, monitoring and evaluation

Location: Central, Western, Northern, Volta and Greater Accra
