A reputable and leading rural bank in the Ashanti Region is seeking to recruit qualified persons to fill the following position: Relationship Officers

Job Responsibilities

The candidate will be required to:

• Deliver the revenue and balance sheet targets assigned by acquiring and maintaining target customers / customer segments within each catchment area
• Manage the profitability of product and customers portfolios as well as improve the profitability through increased fee income generation
• Prospect and mobilise deposits and increase market share by actively participating in customer service delivery through client investment advisory activities
• Process and recommend appropriate credit facilities in line with the bank's credit policy to maximize earnings while containing risks at acceptable levels
• Manage assigned relationships to ensure satisfactory account conduct and early ratification of various credit related issues
• Monitor customer complaints, approach complainants personally where required to resolve various customer related issues

Qualification Required & Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in any discipline related to the job responsibilities specified
• Professional qualifications / postgraduate degrees will be an advantage
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in marketing and sales in a reputable financial institution in Ghana
• Knowledge of credit delivery cycle and portfolio management will be a plus
• Good negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Good numerical and reasoning power with considerable knowledge in Microsoft Office suite
